Ice Cream With a Purpose: Randall The Blue Spider Ice Cream in Sonoma County

One of the themes in the adorable, easy-to-read children's book Randall the Blue Spider Goes Surfing is all about sharing ice cream with friends.

We are honored to partner with Sonoma County ice cream shop, Noble Folk Ice Cream & Pie Bar to feature a special ice cream for the month of June to celebrate the young author of the book, Ryeson Bull, and raise money for Cystic Fibrosis charities.

The ice cream, a blueberry ice cream with cheesecake chunks, is named after the adorable main character of ‘Randall the Blue Spider Goes Surfing.’ <3 <3

Part of the proceeds goes to help fund Cystic Fibrosis research and make life easier for kids and adults that have the progressive disease (a disease that Ryeson was born with and lives with every day. Read more about his journey with CF here).

If you are visiting Sonoma County, the ice cream will be available at both Noble Folk locations every weekend in June 2021 - at:

  • Downtown Santa Rosa: 539 4th St, Santa Rosa, California 95401

  • Downtown Healdsburg: 116 Matheson St, Healdsburg, California 95448

(They also deliver pints of ice cream, and pies in some areas of the Bay Area, so call if you want this special order).

In addition to being available online, the Randall the Blue Spider Goes Surfing book can also be found at several Sonoma County retailers:

  • Savvy Little Shop (Occidental)

  • Bon Ton Baby (Healdsburg)
